well thanks,
i soaked the gearbox in petrol, to remove grease, and with no grease it seems better now, so i'll re-grease and try,

PETROLEUM!?!?!? Holy crap make sure none of that gets on the motor when you install it![X(]

Otherwise........BOOOOMMMMM!

A motor collection is not complete without a checkpoint.

Yup, I close the gear box then make open it so there is a small space for the wd40 straw to go through and blast a load of wd40. Close it quick and spin the gears.

Havnt posted in awhile. Waiting for my parts to come in so I can get it back up and running.

I have a question though. Whats the best motor I can get to run off the stock esc? Or is it always an automatic upgrade whenever you get a motor?

That is not such a good idea, the black grease is only for the diff balls not the whole tranny,. that would gum it up and make it thick.

true I don't use that for my gears i was thinking of something else sorry. you are supose to use the diff lube the stuff in the clear tube for the diff balls not the black grease.

Why not get a checkpoint 13t offroad motor they are outstanding performance motors.

Use tower code 010F3 To save 10.00 off.
It will only be $59.99

are the turnbuckles on the B4 pop on/pop off like on my RC18?

I really don't like that setup, and prefer the screw on ones my Jato has......

The b4 ones are pop off. If you want why not measure the jato ones and if they are identical use them. If the don't fit use a dremel tool to cut off a portion to make it the same size as the b4 one. BTW the screw sized would be 4-40

Thanks for the suggestion. Im thinking of going brushless and just buying a whole system. But that wont be for awhile. I may pick up one of these in the mean time.

endless possibilities.
