speed gems 2 Armatures ?? know where
hey all does any 1 know where i can find some replacement armatures for speed gems 2 ?? iv been looking around and i can not find any anywere im trying to find 1 for a 17t single also could any1 tell me when they stoped making these ? thanks all peace

Why do you need a new armature? If the comm is worn down, you might be able to find a 17 turn single from another brand, and that will probably work with a few shims here and there. If it came apart (wires) Just wind it up again with new ones.

the com. is worn pretty bad there isn't very much beef left on it . you think i could use another arm and make it work ?? and thanks for the help i very much apreciate it

thanks brushless but iv been all over tower LoL i think i found something that would work i just really wanted to know if anything else could work do ya ever have to replace or rebuild on brushless motors ? and again thanks i love this forum page iv learned more on here in like 10 months then iv learned in a year on my own peace

the only maintenece on a brushless motor is to lube the front and rear bearings.

i remember seeing them, bit the might have been discontinued, how many turns does you esc handle?
if your going to get a new arm, kick it up a notch![>:]
but trinity does make a 17t double arm, same brand, so same dimensions.
get brushes if you havent already

can i use any turn and wind ?? i mean with in reason and the same dimentions . esc can handle 15 t its a XL5 and if i could pick your brain for a second or 2 what would the difference in like a 17 t single and a 17 double ??

the single and double are the actual number of copper strands on the armature.
