Default Pick a great RACE battery.

These are my choices, but this one looks great but a little expensive....
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXRBM1&P=ML
Or this one:
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXSDM8&P=7
I've noticed it is cheaper just buying this:
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXLYZ7&P=7
And just building my own....but I just dont know...
I think the Team Checkpoint cells would be the best since they cost the most.
You get what you pay for I suppose.

I voted for the Trinity pack, because they used that pack in RC Driver to test with the Cyclone D4 buggy.
And they said it was a great choice. But I could always get both the Team Checkpoint battery and the Trinity VIS.
The pack will be used in a B44, with a Novak 7.5R Velociti Brushless system, and a JrXr3i FM radio.

SMC IB-4200 stick = $40 each at Tower... I doubt those matched 3700 cells are 2x as good.. ($80? $100? for NiMH!?! I'd go LiPo for that price, sheesh!)

SMC is the way to go. If you buy the SMC 6-cell ecomnomy pack off tower remeber to resolder all of the battery bars because the factory soldering job isnt the greatest.

Try this:
With these prices, you can buy two for the price of one of the others.

Why go threw the hassle of rebuilding if you can spend $10 more on an economy IB4200 6-cell pack on tower.

You'd end up spending the extra $10 on deans/battery wire/ battery bars...

Yeah, there's a whole thread on why IB's are so much better than EP's. And aren'y we supposed to be suggesting things that will fit in a b44? Stick packs won't ever fit unless tyou want it to be front wheel drive, or have a high cg and not be able to run it with a body.

Well, if you want to run in the stock class, nicd's might actually be better because when they are fully charged they have alot more power than nihm's.

Nope definitly gonna be in the modified, due to running a GTB 7.5R Velociti Brushless system.
I thought I made a decent choice because the GTB 5.5 was too fast in a T4, he poped his 7.5 in after that.
I figured Id do great with it also.
