The Regular B44 isn't out yet, I imagine it'll come as an RTR Eventually, without all the cool upgrades.

AE says no rtr & no regular version (see their Q&A). This is the only version. AE has aluminium shock caps, not sure why they are not in the kit (probably cost). I agree the plastic cap must go. Probably the only mod I will do.

Good information RBMike.

Glad I'm not the only one who thought those caps were pretty bad. [:'(]

Went to Wallieworld(Wal-mart) got some supplies for the B44.
Threadlocker(blue), 14 Gauge copper wire(for saddle packs), Cool skull decals(for the body), Rubber Cement(gota have a use for that)
Velcro tape(for the body it is in the manual, but non is included), Some loctite glue(I suppose to glue the tires to the rims), and last Rosin Core Solder. At least now whenever x-mas comes around I dont have to go everywhere looking for stuff I need.

The wire I could proably use for something else, since it's automotive wire.
It was cheap for 2.35 and I thought 20 foot wire for that cheap.

The CVA's(CVD's) are everywhere you need them, the drivetrain, and all 4 wheels.
I checked the manual this morning and couldnt belive it.

COPIED FROM THE ASSOCIATED WEBSITE:
Your nameanny
Electric kit referenced:B44
Comments:Why is it that the bulkheads are composite on the b44 and alloy on Bj4. Does it make much difference in weight, handling Etc.

No it really doesn’t. The composite parts make the kit easier to mass produce and do it at a lower cost.

Electric kit referenced: b44
Comments: hi, i ordered my b44, was wondering if there are any pro setup sheets for the b44, like from jared tebo. can you please post them up? thanks john

Two B44 setups, and a blank setup sheet, should be posted by the time you read this.

Here's another one:
Your name: Paul
Electric kit referenced: B44
Comments: Hi, really interested in the B44 but am disappointed it can only take NiMh saddle packs, was there a reason for this decision?

It was probably due to weight distribution. The saddle pack configuration allowed the weight to be even side to side as well as making sure the weight was as close to the centerline as possible.

AND THIS ONE:
Your name:RBMike
Electric kit referenced:B44
Comments:On this Q&A page 2 separate people have asked if the B44 comes with a one-way set up. Your answer to 1 person that is comes with a diff style front one-way. To the other person you answered that it would come with 2 ball diffs. Which is it?

Sorry for the confusion-- the B44 will come with two ball differentials, not a front one-way.

I'll probably get the aluminum ones since they make it look a little better, is the performance the same as the kit ones, or is this a durability issue?

Pretty impressive! But another thing my manual has their setup sheet for the B44 already printed in the back.[8D]
Just because they are good, doesnt mean that I am as good as them, I'm just a club racer that's all!
It's just nice to have thier setup sheet.

I must be crazy, because I'll be running a champinship car in just club racing...
I dunno I just feel weird about it....
I found a 19 Tooth pinion by the way, and I should be fine except for the batteries.
