Digital high-torque steering servo
Precision steel turnbuckles with heavy-duty rod ends

If you're made of money
If not, just run your pede until something breaks, then replace it with something better.

Always look at the cheaper way. No reason to get a new truck when you already have one.

I think it's so funny when you see people with nice aluminum cars that wont drive it hard.
People sometimes spend all there time upgrading something they really don't even enjoy driving that much. Some people just like the thought of getting something new. Don't get me wrong who doesn't like something new.

My bro is like that. Ever since starting "hobby" grade R/C 5 years back he's went threw at least 20+ cars. He says he has yet to find the perfect one...

Actually I know that in the Rustler there are slight changes other than the motor/ ESC combo. It has the larger bearings, a stock motor housing protector, adjustable rear tierods, and I believe there is a little more. I checked the prices on an XL-5 w/ all of those upgrades vs. a VXL and the VXL is about $75 cheaper to buy already built. I have had my VXL since the first week they came out and I love it. I run an 8000 MaH Li-Po and if geared right the 70mph+ claim is completely true.

Traxxas seems pretty honest about speeds.
