shock towers dont usualy break on rustler, insteat of the traxxas wheelie bar, get a swami-bar, they are the best u can get

I have a swami-bar, I love it! A roll cage would make it a real tank.

Things that are prone to impact like a arms, wheely bars, c hubs, and bumpers are best left plastic. Aluminum is great for things like transmission cases, bulkheads, tie rods, shock towers, ect.

Then you mean "figuratively" not "literally". To *literally* turn your Rustler into a tank would mean adding treads, a gun turret, some armor, etc.

a roll cage would be a great idea to toughen your truck up. It will stiffen the chassis, and make it impervious to crashes.

There was a company that made a very nice carbon fiber/metal roll cage for the Pede but I think its discontinued now.

neither integy parts have no stuctural integrity at all, your better off sticking to the stock plastic peice becuz it will flex when impacted instead of breaking.
