ok, so what would be faster with ThIS battery? http://www.maxamps.com/proddetail.ph...74-Pack&cat=74 with the same gearing?
vxl?
mamba max (if so enter kv amount)
vxl

also how much of a difference is it from a 7.4V lipo battery than 11.1V lipo battery?

would i have to use the balancer on the truck with a lipo? no right?

not exactly, the kt rating of the vxl is higher, it makes mmore torque so u CAN gear it higher

If you are going to use lipos then you need a charger that is for charging lipos, you should also invest in a balancer to.

you shouldnt have to. get a balancing charger so that when the cells are balanced tey are all aways peaked to a certain voltage.

A balancer will balance the cells. The voltage meter shows the voltage of each cell. And not all chargers with a built in balancer work like they should. It is always better to be safe than sorry.

The MM7700 may be faster on a 2s LiPo.

but you can't run 3s on the 7700

you can run 3s on the VXL (or 5700)

Default RE: why is it like this?

becuz u need motor rpm to get speed ok?

More voltage equals more rpm.

The vxl only has 3500kv. very low. it will only give u a high speed if you put more volts to it to get more rpm.
