My Feedback: (4)

1. If i ran a 12 cells in a mamba max 5700kv motor and esc, (with 2 venom 7.2V 5000 mah battery packs)...
2. would the mah double?
3. would the volts double?
4. would the run times shorten?
5. would i have a lot of speed yet maybe too much?
6. would i be better off getting a lipo battery for more power?
7. is there a battery out there where it is better than lipo yet cheaper from 4-7 cells?

it depnends on how you wire them
in series you will get more voltage
it will be INSANe speed
you would be better off getting decent ni-mh's or lipos
maybe try A123 li-ion

Wild YFZ 450

1. Parallel- Double mah ( makes you 10000 )
2. series- double voltage
3. Runtimes would not shorten only stay the same or double depending on the wireing
4. What are you running it in. Im guessing a stampede So yet it will be very fast but yet fun. somewhere around 50~ish with stock gearing.
5. Lipos are always better when your ready for them and have the money for them and the chargers.
6 Honestly only A123's Nothing really between Ni-Mh and lipo. Lipo are lithium-poly and A123 are lithium ion ( Im pretty sure ) They are somewhat lighter then lipos but still require a specific charger for them. Or you can look into the lion- Magnese From apochee. I heard they where pretty good too and are safer. but all these are still in the "lithium" Family

yes i think so. i have always ran niMh and in my opinion they are great to use. but lipos do have more power for less weight.
