Default Lipo for my E-Warhead

Just browsing around for a good lipo 4s pack that I could use for my upcoming E-warhead. I found this but Im not sure there are any better deals out there- http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXRWA2&P=7

My budget is $190.

All help is greatly appreciated!

I also found this but it has lower amp ratings for continious- http://www.maxamps.com/Lipo-4000-148-Pack.htm
I was told that for my project I should get a lipo that has 100a cont. minimum.

the flightpowers are really good, but dont have the greatest runtime.

but im telling you go for true rc 6400s and a 5s format. 4s isnt enough for a 14lb truck.

That's going to depend alot on the motor.

Takedown,

These have been getting some great feedback, and the price point is unbeatable for a good quality pack....

Looks like the 30/60c 4s1p 4100 would be in your budget @ $183, and with a constant discharge of 123 amps it should handle whatever you throw at it.

There's also the 25/50c 4s1p 4300 for $168, constant discharge of 107 amps.

Aside from those, I'd look to maxamps or flightpower. I've been hearing a few bad experiences from maxamps lately, although personally I havn't had a single problem from mine. I've never heard a single bad thing on the neu or flighpower packs.

The Nue and Flightpower packs are great. Poly RC and Enerland are great too. I personally have not had any trouble with MaxAmps, but some of my co-hobbyists have had an assortment of failures.

I know what battery I have my eyes set on now, the Neu Energy 30/60c 4s1p 4100 pack. I might order it tonight but Im not sure yet. If not I'll probably order it sometime late this week early next week if I dont find anything better or of equal.

(Thanks a bunch 83gt for pointing those out to me)[8D]

cough"5s"cough

just the better way to go. It will pay out in the end with more performance, cooler runing, and more runtime.

The VXL wont handle it. Says right in the guide that anything over 20volts will do damage to the circuit board.

who said anything about a guide?

hmmm 21V is definatly less than 20V in my book.
The MM is a 35V monster. JK I wish it was because Im scared to put 5s though it too, eventhough I have heard a couple of times it will be fine. Just dont want to spen $105 to get another MM if I screw it up.(I cant send mine in becuase the case has holes in it.)

Well I have to say you guys talked me into getting a 5s. I will be getting the Flight Power 5s 3200mah 30c-60c lipo- http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXRWB8&P=7
The only reason I chose to stick with Flightpower is because you can get it from tower and shipping will be much faster.

I know I wont get the greatest of runtimes but IMO its a great deal that I just cant pass on.
