isn't that a down side?

I'm always about planetary diffs for offroad. I was wondering if the ball diffs would be a down side to the t4.

I had similar reservations when I bought my first RC10 but since then I have kinda got over the whole planetary thing.

with ball diffs, you can adjust the amount of power traveling to the tires with an allen wrench, rather than using like diff oil for other types of diffs[8D]

it's a downside on other cars, because the manufacturer doesn't know how to make a good diff (a la Duratrax) But AE diffs are the best in the buisness, and they will work better than a gear diff. As long as you build it right.

that's only an issue on some cars, because with the AE diff, the screw will strip before it breaks. On my academy diff, the screw broke when i tightened it to where it should be set at. Not good. I will be replacing it with a peice from a NTC3.
