Default how fast?

a vxl motor and esc vs. a mamba max 6900kv motor and esc what speeds should i expect with this battery http://www.maxamps.com/Lipo-10000-111-Pack.htm at 23/86 gearing. (im not shure if i said this right but does 23/86 mean 23 is pinon and 86 is the spur?)

I would never use that gearing with a mamba system!

It'll overheat WAY too fast. Unless your doing really quick speed runs. And running a 3s LiPo on the 6900 isn't the best idea.

Might be able to get away with it for the 4600 for about 10 minutes or so.

You could get a lot longer than 10 minute runtimes but the motor will heat up.

the 4600 and a 3s lipo will hit about 60,000rpm unloaded. The 5700 will hit 75000. This is alot of rpm, and you need to ru a very small pinion. If you are going that high in voltage, you usually need a very low kv, as this will still produce the desired rpms, have a TON or torque, and have awesome runtimes. Try this:

Don't post about stuff you have no knowledge about or experience with. That motor is tiny, look at the dimensions and max current.

I suppose that since the MM systems run at so many RPMs everyone must be incredibly lucky that their systems havn't failed yet............they do have torque you know.
