I'm ordering as soon as possible! Please reply quick
today i am going to order my parts for my stampede (my signature). before i do that i just have a few last quesitions. one, the body, i decided on the hpi 200mm ford body. i'm assuming since the savage body is 300mm it will fit. let me know.
the bearings/carriers. do i need some grease on them once they are in? i have some old trinity stuff but i don't know if it will get the job done. please link (on tower) a good bearing oil if i need it. thats all the questions i have for now.
thanks!

Why not get a Stampede specific body? A TC body may or may not look as good as one of the Proline bodies that are a direct fit.
Trinity does make a bearing lube, Royal Oil. Good stuff for sure.

Go on tower hobbies, they have the dimensions of the bodies. Make sure the lengths and widths of the 200mm body are the same. Although the wheelbase may still be different too.
Proline makes that AWESOME new K10 Chevy body for the Stampede. I like it a lot.
I bet a wheelie king body (unpainted of course) would look great on the Stampede.

I tried to put a Cen CT5 body on my pede and it didn't fit. It's a 200mm touring car body. The body touches the tires.

well, since my vxl is so huge i was looking at either the c10 body because the k10 doesn't come out until later and i'm ordering this weekend. i was also looking at the hpi ford body. it looks like it will give my vxl some breathing room and it looks good on the pede. bummer pro-line stopped making that f-150, thats what i would get if they still had it
thanks
