If you take a look at my build thread (ah, hmm, incomplete build thread), you will see that the acccess to motor is pretty good.. you take the cover off, and you can get to the 2 screws that hold the motor! Not sure if you have to drop the tranny or not, but it is pretty easy too!

My credit card hates your build threads (joke)

It's really hard to tell until the whole thing is together whether or not if it's worth it. For example:TLT-1 must take 3/4 a part while F-150 is 2 tires & 2 motor screws.

It's eight screws, and it doesn't leave the truck in a mess when you remove them.

Wow, it looks, ummm, different..... LB, HOW COULD YOU DO THAT TO A TOYOTA!!!! They look better when they are beat up/have body damage! TRAIL SCARS[sm=devious.gif]!!

EDIT: What paint is that? Is it one of those SpazStix brand paints, because I know they make all of those wild paints.

Oh, I thought that was yours, LOL. (And I thought the blue one on the volvo was yours too, LOL!) [sm=red_smile.gif]

Yellow will look really good I think. I havent seen a yellow one yet, but I think it will go perfect.

Just a suggestion, but maybe make it like a drab tan color?

I am not a huge Tamiya fan like you, and I dont much care for the box art color. I think it would look really scale, like and old FJ40, if it were painted in a distresed/drab tan color. Maybe use a lighter to put some faux body damage in! (Look in the scale section off www.rccrawler.com/forum , and you will see some really cool and very realistic body damage on some of the nicer scale builds.)

Wow this vehicle looks a lot more scale than I thought it would, and it looks more capable than a beginner crawler. hmmmmm... I may have to get one of these... grrr.

A beginner crawler, as in an aixal AX10, some people think it's better i certain situations but the axial would probably be better generally. That said, the CR01 is a good truck and very fun, that's what this Hobbie is about right?

It's sort of scale but is to wide and the tires are to big, if you changed that it wouldn't be so caperbull, it's all a trade off...

ill post a pick to show later.

It is no competition crawler, but should be pretty capable!
