Default Tamiya Pajero-Collective Build

I know of at least 7 of us that have already or will be pre-ordering this kit.

Can't wait and I have already begun ordering parts for it.

Let see what you guys have planned for yours!

I got one coming in as well! So I will be participating here!

Having built the T-Egg before, I am pretty familiar w/ the XC/CC.. but I figured that I'd need a hardshell, so when the 'Jero is re-re-ed, I signed up for one!

Bearings, Dirt Tuned motor, Front Universals, maybe wheels as well. I'm undecided if I want a Tamiya light kit or Yeah Racing LED kit in there.

Are you talking about that new 8 mode light set?

Where can you get the front universals?

You can get the Tamiya ones from Ebay sometimes. But they are pricy. I found out Integy also makes them and have them in stock. Same Universals as TA-02/03 (Normal ones not the wide editions)

That's a bit much... usually like $35 plus shipping. I think MSRP was $24. Integy ones are $14... but I hesitate to use them for moving parts.. [&:]

Description from Tamiya:

http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/ite...oduct-id=49490

Tamiya brings back another timeless classic with the re-release of the Mitsubishi Pajero Metaltop Wide R/C model.

About the Mitsubishi Pajero
First introduced in 1982, Mitsubishi's Pajero line of Sport Utility Vehicles has enjoyed much commercial and racing success. It was available in both short wheelbase 3-door and long wheelbase 5-door versions. Special race versions of the Pajero have been taking part in rally races around the world since 1983, and it is the single most successful vehicle in the history of the Paris Dakar Rally, a fact which confirms the Pajero's superb off-road capabilities.

About the Model
Limited edition re-release of the 1/10 R/C Mitsubishi Pajero Metaltop Wide assembly kit.
4WD XC chassis features realistic suspension system.
Front and rear gear differentials ensure dependable power transmission.
Suspension equipped with oil dampers to effectively absorb shocks from off-road driving.
Modern TEU-101BK ESC replaces the old 3-step ESC, and Type 540 motor is also included.
Exquisitely-detailed body shell is made from durable ABS resin and Tamiya TS Spray Paints can be used to create custom paint schemes.
Headlight mounts enable installation of high brightness LEDs. LEDs can also be installed for the auxiliary fog lights on the front bumper.
A perfect item for enthusiasts seeking true-to-life scale realism in their R/C cars.

ELECTRIC KITS REQUIRE:
(unless stated differently above)
Radio: 2-Channel with servo(s)
Battery: 6-cell flat with standard Tamiya connector
Charger: AC/DC timed or peak for 6-cell battery
Paint: PS for Polycarbonate/TS for ABS
Misc. Items: Building and track equipment

alright, i'm in! haven't placed an order (yet) but after years of resisting popular trends, this is one bandwagon i will be jumping on. [&:] looks like i'll be eating ramen for a month to pay for this bad boy.

the only hop up i'm interested in right now is lights. is it possible to get the roof lights lit as well, or just the front and rear lights?
