Sup guys, been busy with school and track so haven't been on for a while..

I was wondering if any of you could help shed light on a problem i am having

The esc on my vxl esc seems to kick in way to early..the battery seems to still have tons of power but the lvc comes on, i charge the battery and it only charges about 1500mah before it's done so i know it's no where near fully run out...So what should i do?
Thanks guys
Make sure you don't have it set for the wrong type of battery! LOL

Well I found the first weak point in these sway bars. The junk rod ends they use. They snap so easy. I broke 2 of them in one hit. I swapped them out for traxxas ones and they are fine now .
Oh yea I also got my shock covers today.

Well I finished up my Maxx tonight, did a night run, and wow, it was amazing! Nothing broke, only issue I had was my lightkit decided to not work so I had to tape a flashlight to the top of the body to see it. Motor temp was a bit high, was running around 157* after about 12 minutes of low speed blipping (which will raise the temps of a BL motor fairly quickly) and LiPo cutoff hadn't kicked in yet. The LiPo's were are 103*, and not sure on the ESC but it was below 150* because the fan never came on. Performance is epic, while it wont wheelie as much, it will still wheelie when it gets traction. I will get some pictures tomorrow.

I am also having a monster body painted for my slash. It is not going to be like what you think though. I am probably just going to go with one M on the hood and monster on the sides. I will have a little mirror chrome in there to.

You stole my idea.... I was going to have one painted like that for my Maxx, except mine is going to be blue instead of green.

And here is a link to a painted Monster body for a slash, no decals, all painted - http://zielkeracing.com/items/traxxa...ody-detail.htm

Debating setups. Trays and mounts are in, not yet installed.

AD, what's it have for durability upgrades?

NewKid, what's it have for durability upgrades?

This is not the stock truck thread.......

Unless you plan on putting durability upgrades on the car right away, like RPM arms or other aluminum upgrades, please do not post the truck.

So yesterday i realized i had a spare e maxx skid plate lying around, my rustler has been annoying me because on 3s the second you hit the gas it flips over...so i put the skid plate on the back end of the rustler using and now i have a sweet wheelybar type thing! it actually fit perfectly, lined up with the screw's that hold the tranny to the chassis of the rustler, now my rustler is perfect!

HS645mg. As you can see, it's a roller.

Waiting on parts before I can start building. They are pretty tough RTR. And aluminum parts are really expensive.

I may try to extend my pede a couple inches. Not sure if I'll do it from the front or the back. I think the back would be easier. Doesnayone have pics of how they did it? and how much should I extend it? I still want to be able to get a good body for it.

Doesn't matter if they are tough RTR, this is not the "post your stock truck that you bash thread."

And 1 servo isn't a durability upgrade, especially the HS645MG, I have the same servo in my Maxx and it's not that great.

To traxxaspede - get an extended FLM pede chassis. They aren't too much new, and you could probably get a used one on ebay for cheap.

ATTENTION ATTENTION ATTENTION

http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_8757056/tm.htm

This thread is being retired due to there being so much conflict over stock trucks being posted, and the fact that it's getting hard to find information in this thread considering it is 160 pages long. So please, do not post in this thread anymore, there is an all new thread, The Beater Builds Thread v2.0! http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_8757056/tm.htm
