yeah i tried my mitroniks(sp?) tempo 11 turn esc and it didnt work so i put the stock one back in and that didnt work either

Take your batteries and try them in another vehicle that is not your own, no offense.
1..Check the voltage to the motor wires when this is occuring in forward and reverse.
2..Voltage should be the same or at least close depending on ESC settings
3..The noise you hear, where exactly is it coming from motor, esc or transmission
I am betting the voltage is NOT staying up as needed when throttle is applied.
If voltage at the motor is dropping then check it at the battery terminals

the noise is comming from the motor.
i dont have a volt meter so ill see if i can borrow one from my neihbor tomorrow.

If the spur is not spinning when acting up , then the trouble is before it. There's not much to go wrong in between motor and spur.
If pinion is not spinning then keep going upstream (backwards towards motor)
If motor shaft isn't spinning and there's voltage at the brush hoods then the truoble is in between the brush hoods and the shaft. That points to brush/comm connection.
