That kinda looks like a gt2 rear end because the shocks are in the back while on the electric one shock are in the front of the rear shock tower

i hear having a "mid motor" helps prevent wheelies and makes the car handle MUCH better, i know Brian Kinwald (big racer guy) has a car that has the mid motor and he said it ran much better (its in an RCCA)

It looks like an easy conversion, but is it any better than a T4? I'm sure it is more durable than a T4, but what about handling? In these days of simple conversions, it seems like more guys would do it if there was a noticeable advantage. I've pondered this for a long time, but there doesn't seem to be any credible source to confirm an advantage.

someone makes a kit to do that to a B4, and I bet you can use the same kit to do it to a T4

i did this to my CR. it was pretty nice. it handled pretty good but i did notice that i lost some rear traction. i was running on a clay track so it was kinda necisary to have it. i ended up just switching it back.

Moving weight closer to the CoR moves in the moment of inertia,
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moment_of_inertia
meaning that the be able to turn with less force which can be both a good thing (if you are an expert racer, more good than bad).
But you're also shifting the CoR forward which like the above poster can cause problems with rear traction. To fix this move some of the heavy items from the front closer to the CoR or a little behind it, if possible. Shifting the battery backwards, only if the battery is in front of the CoR, etc. Shifting objects behind the CoR farther back to compensate negates the whole advantage.

I can also tell you that I have no problems keeping up with, or passing the T4's that race at my track.
