Wierd VXL ESC problem (no low throttle power)
Just got my VXL esc in, it's directly soldered to about an inch of deans wire, then the motor wires. i have tried 2 vxl motors on it, both have the same problem. when i first pop in the pack, it runs normal. after about 1 minute when i give it throttle slowly, it almost sounds like the slipper clutch is slipping, but if i give it full throttle, it goes. then, after a couple more minutes. if it's stopped, and i give it full throttle it makes a ticking noise but doesn't move. so if i push it, around 3 mph, in forward or reverse, it will go and run normal, until i slow down again. i think it's either a bad solder (somewhere) on one of the poles, and maybe it's ignored once it's up and moving. this goes for forward and reverse. the esc is right from traxxas, and it's the model with the wires coming out of the esc. as much as i love this esc, between the plugs coming out, this, etc, I'm thinking of selling both my Velineon motors and esc and getting a sidewinder. let me know your thoughts...

RE: Wierd VXL ESC problem (no low throttle power)
did you change the length of the motor wires? from what I have been told if you change the wire lenght on the motor wires it could mess with the motor as its not a sensored motor, I am not sure though thats just what I was told...........
