Cut off the Tamiya and solder the wires onto each Dean's connector. Male Dean's goes on esc and charger leads.
On battery do one at a time of course (keeping the polarity correct.)

Batteries is very important that you do one side at a time complete before starting the other. Cut one wire, strip it, solder it, heat sink it before even cutting the other. The standard is that if you lay the connector down so it's wider than tall then the negative is on the horizontal piece and positive is on the vertical piece. Do this so that you can share batteries.

but a LOT more batteries come stock with the deans connector on them. Deans are also PROVEN to over 100amps, i've yet to see any hard data on the traxxas connectors.

can't see why a traxxas can't handle 100A, the design is fundamentally much better than deans, the plastic is of better quality for example.

I can't see why it would be considered a better design and as long as the plastic doesn't melt, which I've never seen it do on real deans (not the cheap chinese knockoffs) I couldn't care less what type of plastic it is. All I know is that dean have been used on RCHelis that typically use much higher voltage and amps than cars do with no problems so I see no need to change. And as I said, more batteries and chargers come with deans than traxxas.
