Default stick pack questions

accidently ran some nicds on a nimh system.what will happen.whats the difference?my sidewinder system says that i have to run nimh batts.will this dammage the esc?

Shouldn't make a difference at all. They are the same voltage after all.

Different battery chemistry. NIMH is better and available in much larger capacaties. You'll get better overall power and runtime with nimh compared to nicad, the only thing you risk damaging is the nicad battery itself by overexerting it from your sidewinder system.

You really can`t overexert a nicad as they need to be discharged down to 0V .

actualy you can get the most power out of a nicad pack, the problem is you should only run a nicad pack once a day, while nimh can be run multiple times a day...

There is NO WAY you could damage your ESC/Motor by running nicad instead of nimh.
