Charge at 3.6 amps. Discharge it by driving it in your car/truck.

Most batteries should be charged at their 1C rating, which is just the mah rating divided by 1000.
Ex: 4500 mah divided by 1000 = 4.5, so you charge at 4.5 amps, 1900 mah would be 1.9 amps, etc.

This is a very good rule to follow but not always nessasary. I have a Intellect 6 cell 3600 pack that says to charge at 6 amps! I use it for racing and slam 6 amps into it all the time and it keeps pumping out the power. I would go to the web site for the packs you run and see what they recommend....

mah is the "gas tank" of the battery world. The higher it is the longer it lasts.

Lipo is a type of battery. Lithium Polymer.
NiMH is also another type of battery cell. Nickel Metal Hydride.
