Ok, so now no one can complain about the losi transmissions holding up to high power brushless systems!!!

Idler Gear, Aluminum: Slider, HRL

But why are they years behind traxxas. Not trying to start a war, but traxxas did this for years, and yes it was good, but traxxas realized it still wasnt right and went all metal. Metal to aluminum to plastic, something is going to prematurely wear out here, the same thing traxxas went through. Why not learn from others and just go all metal, or figure out associateds secret.

It should work with the DT. How are they years behind Traxxas? They just started making RTR 1/10 about a year ago. The reason Losi didnt make it before is when they made their vehicles for racing, the goal wasnt to put in the fastest motor possible. They just started having these problems when backyard bashers started putting brushless/3s lipo in them.

Highly doubt it, not listed as fitting the DT. Compare the stock DT idler to this one, DT gear is flat on the side and the bearing cavity is much deeper. I sure hope their going to make one for us DT owners....
