Default What car should i get with these parts?

hello, I have been trying to find what car I should get that could be put together with the parts i have without buying more. I have a 540 motor brushed out of a starter, a sf1 servo. so far i need descent batteries, radio, and esc with a 1/10 roller? any suggestion? im aiming for a total of $100ish but i know thats really low. it doesn't have to be fast or shiny. Thanks!

Check out this listing I found on the Minneapolis Craigslist.

You can get a RTR rustler for $135 with batteries, not a bad deal.

You could get a brand new Tamiya Grasshopper. With a 380 or 540 motor, it would not be fast, but it would be shiny and you would get to build it from pieces. Don't know if you're into the vintage look.

Of course the aforementioned Traxxas' will handily outperform the Grasshopper, but isn't the point of the 'hopper. Just another option to consider.

The Rusty would be good on road as well, but you'd have to change the tires. You'll wear those tiny pins off the rears in about 20 minutes of driving on road. The ribs on the front wheel don't have any dirty to dig into, so you're just giving up traction there.

When I say good on-road for the Rusty, I'm talking about compared to a monster truck, but not compared to a dedicated road car.

Then again, it has the recipe for a good street car. It has suspension that can soak up going off curbs, cracks in the road, potholes, etc.
