Just a video i ran across. Slash is quick. According to the owner of the video the slash is running the stock nimh pack that comes with it, the vxl system, and had less than 5 minutes of practice with the truck.

Wouldn't surprise me, the battery that comes with the Slash is just a stick pack. Throw in a good 2s lipo and it would have a bit more oomph out of the hole.
Looks like it will be very competitive with the Slayers. As long as its competitive I think its cool to run electrics and gas together, the more the merrier plus rivalries make good races.

It's the driver..
check out 1:25
also watch the back straight he over takes one of the nitros durring the race!
give the stock pack two or three cycles and it will open up more..
