It should never happen with a sensored motor, BUT, if something is wrong with the sensor or the motor is run too hot I have seen it happen. Typically its a problem with the motor or ESC if you ever see it happen.

alright. cause once my car gets say 50ft from me it starts acting all weird and like sometimes before it will even move you gotta hold WOT for like 2 seconds. im not sure what the problem is.

Something similar can happen if you battery is really weak. But that's more like hiccuping and stuttering. Or if the sensor has gone bad / is malfunctioning / is mis-wired.

Glitching issues can be tough. It's possible that there is some interference with the radio. I had an Airtronics MX-3S FM radio that had bad range issues, but only with a specific speed control. Something about that ESC caused problems.
It could also be a problem with the battery. A weak battery can cause issues like you describe. I had batteries that, even when fully charged, would drop so much voltage under load that the receiver would glitch badly. It got much worse as the distance between me and the model increased.

ya i know the battery is ok cause i ran a lipo earlier and it still did it. it was the orion 3800 a good battery. so tommorrow im gonna try the traxxas remote and reciever and if thats not the problem than idk what is.
