Which lipo to get?
Heya,
I'm in the market for a new lipo. I already have a NeuEnergy 6s 5000mah 30/60C lipo but i'd like to buy another.
Basically, the NeuEnergy was VERY expensive because it's top of the range and has enerland (or very good) cells in it, as well as a high discharge rate. I don't want to spend that money so i'm looking at cheaper brands.
I've picked out a few, but i'm having a hard time telling the differences between them, and am wondering if any of you guys have had any experience with any of them.
Anyways, these are the lipo's i've looked at so far...
ZIPPY Flightmax 5000mAh 6S1P 40C

ZIPPY Flightmax 5000mAh 6S1P 30C
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbycity/s...idProduct=8590
ZIPPY Flightmax 5800mAh 6S1P 30C
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbycity/s...idProduct=9935
Turnigy 5000mAh 6S 35C Lipo Pack
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbycity/s...dProduct=10095
Turnigy 5000mAh 6S 30C Lipo Pack
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbycity/s...idProduct=9518
ZIPPY-H 5000mAh 6S1P 20-30C Lipoly Pack
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbycity/s...idProduct=6353
I know people really like Zippy's, but I remember being told that the R series was better than the H series?
I don't really know much about Turnigy...
Will any of these perform the same as my NeuEnergy lipo's? I'm guessing none of them have enerland cells.
If these don't cut it (im a performance freak, I like mad wheelies and 80+mph) then I might have to bite the bullet and buy another quality lipo such as Hyperion, Thunder Power, PolyQuest, PolyRC, Flight Power etc..
But I REALLY don't want to spend that much if I don't have to...
Any help/advice greatly appreciated as always!!

RE: Which lipo to get?
you will be best off with either the 40c flightmax pack, or the 35c turnigy pack. i have a few flightmax packs and a turnigy pack (all 5000s) and i can't complain about either. there's one small thing i don't like about each pack. the flightmax packs are matched, but not as well as the turnigy packs. it is too small to really notice without a resistance reading charger. the thing i don't like about the turnigy packs is the HUGE python wires coming out of them. for some, they are a benefit, but i prefer 12awg or 10awg wires at the most. 8awg is just plain overkill.
with either pack, you will be very happy. the 40c pack can also charge faster if you have a capable charger. the turnigy is good up to 2c and the zippy is good to 3c, or 5c with slightly lower life expectancy.
hope this helps

RE: Which lipo to get?
Although I have no experience with any of these but I reckon these would be the ones to look at.

The 40c one looks like good value to me.
As for the 5800mah 30c one, if you were gonna go with one of the 35c packs you may as well go for one of these, they put out about 174a (5800mah 30c) instead of 175a (5000mah 35c) which I doubt it would matter at all but you get an extra 800mah.
But the 5000mah 40c is $10 less.
As for the wire gage, the 8awg would probably be nice as they can put out a lot of amperage.
Saying that though, a decent setup would probably struggle to draw 120a especially with 6s voltage.
