Yeah, sad part was it was the very first run and it lasted less than a minute!!!
I have broken it frequently and often since then... the most trouble i had though was twisting the the front and rear drive shafts off
at the universals.. I went through countless shafts before I found some that woud take the torque load....
other than that just typicall bulkheads a-arms etc... The things that jump out in front of you are the wost!!! LOL!!!!!

Its the Mamba 2200kv and i'm running it on 6s lipo (22.2v). I had to upgrade the driveshafts and centershafts to steel. I added a hardened steel 64t spur and a Hardened steel 16t pinion. Nothing breaks. I had to replace the front and rear diff a while ago cuz i bought it used off e-bay and it already had a lot of run time then i thrashed it more with the monster system. Got the diffs off e-bay brand new for 15 bucks each, sealed and ready to go, sweet deal. I added aluminum bulkheads and shock towers and Duratrax (yes duratrax) Warhead 6" aluminum shocks(8 total).

Good Deal...
i am thinking of getting that system for my e-revo....
It is stock now...
Did you try nimh on that system before you went lipo??
The 7 cell matched packs is what i would run it with for now..

your maxx looked fun till it hit that birdbath, lol
I see we have similar luck, this sound familiar?

you "Oh sweet, cool new thing I have, better test it out! gently of course!"
world "oh no you don't! I'm going to break that thing the second you try to use it!"
you "oh crap, my new thing is broken, time to get a newer new thing for it or a new thing all together!"
repeat until flat broke

that's how it works for me, lol.

I know how you feel with the BB incident, something really major on my 18T breaks every couple runs, and from really minor crashes. Just yesterday it's right front tire bounced off the edge of a curb, where it slopes down to the driveway entrance. It just kinda spun out, nothing major, but somehow the Mamba's mounting face detached from the can.

I CAed it back on, and did a few more runs. Atm I'm totally wishing I had a new Draglink (which btw broke in a 10mph rollover) because it veered off during a speed pass and snapped the bellcrank

I also recently put in some MIP diffs to go with the Steel Diff Gears. Needless to say my diffs don't give me problems anymore.
