Hello everyone.
I am currenty looking for a esc with no motor limit. Unfortunattely
the prices I have seen are just insane, so I will try to make one from scratch.
I need any info I can get on a commersial esc.
The first thing I need is to know what kind of MOSFET devices a commersial esc uses (those big chips that go a little outside the case)
If anyone can help (ie daring to open his esc) I would be most gratefull. If someone has a close photo of the internals of an esc it would also help.
Thanx a lot.
Nick.

I guess from the dirt and gravel that you own a truck or rally car.
Usually from the construction of the case of the esc I though it is quite dufficult for something to get in there, but probably I was wrong.
One way or another I think you should clean it. What I am looking for is shown in the picture attached. The one at the right is how these mosfets look alone.
The number on the mosfets is what I am looking for at the moment. once I know generally what kind of mosfets are used (for a particular motor turn) I can know what power is required thus design the circuit.
I hope you will find the numbers on your esc's mosfets.
Thanx.
