Default Blitz build

Im thinking about building the ultimate blitz and would like everyones input on what should go into the build. It will be used pimarily on a hard pack dirt short course track. Id like to use the ESE kit as a platform for the build, but any upgrades to it are welcome.

Please provide any pics or links with specific parts or vendors if possible.

Thanx a bunch in advance and look forward to everyones comments.

No money limit?

If so, then make the whole truck from carbon fibre.

what im doing with my rustler to slash conversion is chassis, tires and body from ebay and then adding rustler electronics and other interchangeable parts,
try ebay for a good condition blitz, buy it and upgrade accordingly

Well I was thinkin of using the ESE platform which has some decent upgrades already and would like to go brushless with it. Assume a no money limit but constrain it with reason and that this isnt to be raced professionally. That and I dont want something that is so tweaked it never runs right and that Im jerkin with it constantly......LOL

Get the 2200Kv flux system from the savage and run it on 6S , some proline tyreshttp://prolineracing.com/hpi-blitz/, a nice bodyhttp://www.jconcepts.net/store/index...dex&cPath=2_42.

Would make a good truck already.

Convert it to nitro... that would give you something to do.

The blitz is already an awesome truck, throwing on a bunch of aluminum would just make it suck.

Well start throwing out ideas......../\

As far a Lipos go Im not set up for them and would like to stick with NMHI, unless you guys can recommend charger, packs, etc. I havent really looked into it too much cus seems many threads on here revolve around peps having issue with them......lol

BTW, I though Aluminum is a good thing due to added strength and less weight.

Ive seen some parts on the RPM site for the front end that would strengthen things up a bit. Any thoghts?

I was checking out the 2200Kv flux system on tower and it seems it needs to be programed via a USB. Now has anyone done this and if so how straight forward is it. Also What kind of receiver would you pair up with it.......2.4 or could you use the Am out of say the Rustler?

Thanx again
