problem with rusty HELP!!

Well i installed a new Servo yesterday i dont think it is the problem but, i have a Duratrax ESC

http://img219.exs.cx/img219/7476/rc54fy.jpg

As you can see there where it plugs into the receiver well every time i turn it on the light on the ESC wont come on and it wont run or anything i have to like unplug the plug from the ESC to the receiver 2-3 times then it comes on but still after i run it for a few minutes it jus t stops. Should i send it to Duratrax? Suggestions?

RE: problem with rusty HELP!!

You might try looking at the wires in the plug that goes into your reciever. Make sure the little tabs that hold each wire in the plug is clipped in right. Sometimes these work loose a little and will cause the whole system to glitch. First I would try unplugging the steering servo, then see if it all works normal. If so then it is your servo wire, if not look at you RX plug wires on your esc. I have bought a few servo's that needed clipped into the plug better, and had the same problem. And make sure your car batt is charged (for esc power assuming your running bec) Hope this helps:)
Take care,
Jay
