Take a look at this:

http://www.junfac.com/car_dragoon.htm

Interesting approach.. I guess JunFac decided to make its own gearboxes to compete w/ the Clod axles... that makes sense, I guess... if they pass on the saving to the customers... (right...........)
Ya, I saw that, you can also buy the axel halves from JunFac, but they are reinforced i think.

I buy a lot of stuff on ebay. You just have to know how to look for deals and know how and when to bid. If you know what you are doing on ebay...you can get away with a lot of stuff for less than you can imagine.;)

I got the JunFac chassis on eBay brand new still in the package for the same price as it is direct from Junfac and much less shipping.

Only unexperienced ebay users don't get deals...my friend got a clod with esc for 70 bucks shipped...dont tell me that aint a deal. I got a brand new pede for 80 bucks shipped...a steal...I got 8 new in package t-maxx shocks for 8 bucks and a gp3300 for 11 bucks...it's good if you know how to get the deals. I could never have gotten that stuff from a supplier for anything within 20 bucks of what I paid.

Ya, the Savage shocks are super durable...I'll let you know how they perform. So far from what I've seen, they are definitely worth the money.

Speaking of the Savage, I have been looking into both the Savage 4.1 and the Revo 3.3...

I am really torn and still not convinced it's better than electrics.

RE: Super Clod Buster Build-up Thread

Well the revo is better performing but traxxas engines suck. The savage has tons of power but is slow, not as good handling but is really tough.

Yeah, they are definitely not for the lightweight vehicles... I look forward to run my dual S-600 w/ your dual T-600! ;)

Hey TEX, what was wrong with the other shocks?
They are good for straight applications and not good at an angle. They lock up if the angle is too great. That is why I purposely bough the HPI's. They have pivot balls on both top and bottom.

Anyone want to trade for 8 Tamiya MT shocks?

Savage 4.6 SS!!!

Yes, it is a kit so that means I get to build it and learn all about how it works. Then I can use my radio equipment and not pay for the RTR junk.
