SC10 360 degree view!
If you haven't seen already
[link=http://www.teamassociated.com]Team Associated[/link] cant tell if its 4wd but im pretty sure its electric. looks similar to slash. aluminum shocks? hard to tell. |
RE: SC10 360 degree view!
i like the mud flaps
|
RE: SC10 360 degree view!
i hope its 4wd and electric
|
RE: SC10 360 degree view!
pretty sure its electric. did see a muffler or engine head cooling vent in the body. actualy it looks like 2wd. makes sense, so compete with the slash
|
RE: SC10 360 degree view!
looks 4wd. I think I see a belt. look in the hub and you can see somthing that looks like one...4wd?:D
|
RE: SC10 360 degree view!
are you saying its belt drive? [X(]. that would be awesome. maybe i should hold back on trying to get a micro desert truck. i hope this isnt too expensive like the new Traxxas GoPro camera. anyone heard of that? [link=http://www.traxxas.com]Traxxas[/link] its under the news
waterproof 5 megapaixel mini video camera. amain has it for $250 though...[:@] thats alot of money. but im getting off topic. how about put one of those on the SC10? |
RE: SC10 360 degree view!
It is 2wd, and based off the T4 chassis. It will be a RTR as you can clearly see the RTR shocks. Also looks like the length are in between a T4/B4 as far as the front arms. Nothing exciting here. Bascially what Losi did with the Desert Truck, but at elast they put some thought into it. ie. 2.4ghz radio, LCD lights, made a new transmission for it.
|
RE: SC10 360 degree view!
how do you know 2wd?
|
RE: SC10 360 degree view!
look there are no dogbones in the front.
|
RE: SC10 360 degree view!
Looks way better than the slash, it will probably school it.
|
RE: SC10 360 degree view!
ORIGINAL: carlbellybutton10 how do you know 2wd? |
RE: SC10 360 degree view!
put your mouse one the middle of the V in "View" and it looks like there is something in the arms
|
RE: SC10 360 degree view!
It is 2wd. What you are seeing is the steering toe links. It is just a t4/b4 with a different body and maybe arms. Just like the slash dealio.
|
RE: SC10 360 degree view!
Unfortunately losi dropped the ball on the desert truck, IF they were trying to make it a short course truck. Which obviously they were not, so why try to compare them.
GO AE. |
RE: SC10 360 degree view!
it does look 2wd though
|
RE: SC10 360 degree view!
It is definitely 2wd and based off the t4, i dont know how long those mudflaps will last though. Lets not forget about the slash though, if it werent for traxxas, we wouldnt have the sc8, and now the sc10. AE should have to pay royalties. LOL

RE: SC10 360 degree view!
It is a kit!!!! I was wrong but tis is MUCH better than RTR!
|
RE: SC10 360 degree view!
Nice to see that it's a kit, at least AE hasn't abandoned the more hardcore users yet. Excellent looking body too, just like a smaller version of the SC8 shell.
|
RE: SC10 360 degree view!
Sweet! Bout time we get to see some pics of this thing.
Know how you can tell its 2wd? The motor guard hiding under that huge rear bumper. Any ideas what the price tag is gonna look like? |
RE: SC10 360 degree view!
I guess I can take my extra T4 and turn it into a SC10............................
You would have thought AE could have released a "NEW" chassis design instead of reusing the T4. I do like the gear-diff in the tranny better then a ball-diff. |
RE: SC10 360 degree view!
it looks like a decent truck maybe my next kit need to get away from the traxxas and tamiyas:D
|
RE: SC10 360 degree view!
it looks too much like a buggy with big bumpers, big wheels and a scale looking body... it doesn't really seems special. ill see what kinda reviews get out and see what the price is before i decide on it or a losi micro dt.
|
RE: SC10 360 degree view!
ORIGINAL: Chris_RC It is a kit!!!! I was wrong but tis is MUCH better than RTR! But no worries, they did that to keep the price down. I'll run the dogbones until they snap, if ever then I'll buy cvds. It looks similar to the desert truck, having the gear diff instead of the ball diff, but people rather have a gear diff anyhow right? |
RE: SC10 360 degree view!
its under $200 it uses the RTR parts because there cheaper, and its a KIT!!!!!!!:D:D:D:D:D:D
