It is 2wd, and based off the T4 chassis. It will be a RTR as you can clearly see the RTR shocks. Also looks like the length are in between a T4/B4 as far as the front arms. Nothing exciting here. Bascially what Losi did with the Desert Truck, but at elast they put some thought into it. ie. 2.4ghz radio, LCD lights, made a new transmission for it.

how do you know 2wd?
Because if it was based off the B44, the suspension would be completely different. The arms and suspension look exactly like the T4/B4. Plus, why would it be 4wd if there was no cvd's/dogbones in the front?

It is 2wd. What you are seeing is the steering toe links. It is just a t4/b4 with a different body and maybe arms. Just like the slash dealio.

Unfortunately losi dropped the ball on the desert truck, IF they were trying to make it a short course truck. Which obviously they were not, so why try to compare them.

GO AE.

It is definitely 2wd and based off the t4, i dont know how long those mudflaps will last though. Lets not forget about the slash though, if it werent for traxxas, we wouldnt have the sc8, and now the sc10. AE should have to pay royalties. LOL

Here are some more pictures and info.

Based on a lengthened version of the 6-time ROAR National Championship-winning RC10T4, the engineers behind the doors in Area-51 made the SC10 both all show and all go! The SC10 comes ready to assemble with a clear short course race-truck body, KMC™ style wheels, aggressive tread multi-terrain tires, all which have been designed to look just like the full-size race trucks that run in short course off-road series around the country. Nice to see that it's a kit, at least AE hasn't abandoned the more hardcore users yet. Excellent looking body too, just like a smaller version of the SC8 shell.

Sweet! Bout time we get to see some pics of this thing.

Know how you can tell its 2wd? The motor guard hiding under that huge rear bumper.

Any ideas what the price tag is gonna look like?

I guess I can take my extra T4 and turn it into a SC10............................

You would have thought AE could have released a "NEW" chassis design instead of reusing the T4. I do like the gear-diff in the tranny better then a ball-diff.

it looks too much like a buggy with big bumpers, big wheels and a scale looking body... it doesn't really seems special. ill see what kinda reviews get out and see what the price is before i decide on it or a losi micro dt.

I agree, but the only thing I dont like about it is it comes with dogbones instead of CVD's/universals, my desert truck had those.
But no worries, they did that to keep the price down. I'll run the dogbones until they snap, if ever then I'll buy cvds.
It looks similar to the desert truck, having the gear diff instead of the ball diff, but people rather have a gear diff anyhow right?
