Default part compability?


i got this car for realy cheap,it is a serpent s400. but one of the alu parts holding the front shocktower is broken. the part on the tamiya 415 looks like it, can it be used on my car? http://www.rcinfos.com/2006/2006_07_...ed_edition.php

Your best bet is to measure the distance between the mounting holes, both up/ down and L/R, and write that down in mm. Then call TamiyaUSA in California, ask for tech support, and see if that part can fit.

Aside from that, the front dampers mounting position may change a bit on the stay itself. Even if the part doesn't line up, you can make your own drill hole pattern and base it off the centerline of the replacement part.
