Help a Noob in 1/8 On Roads!
I've always wanted an 1/8 GT on road racer. I plan on running 4s-8s in parallel packs. Most of my identical packs are 3s and 4s so most of the time I will run 6s and 8s.
This car will never be raced only speeding around open parking lots that aren't in the best shape (dips, rocks, sand, leaves, etc) so I won't need or want a very lightweight chassis that isn't durable.
I've owned an Inferno GT2 but never liked it...the stock motor was a PITA to tune and to me the quality just wasn't there. I rather get a kit myself and build it the way I want.
Power: MMM w/2200kv
Lipos: 3s-4s all Gens Ace 45C or Sky Lipo 40C
Servos: Hitec 7954SH, Hitec 7955TG, Hitec 5645MG (leaning towards using the 7954SH since it's newer and more power).
BEC: Castle external BEC @ 7.4V
So that's all I have ready for this build what are the pros/cons of each:
1. OFNA DM-1 Spec E
2. OFNA Ultra GTP 2 E
Am I missing an 1/8 electric on roads besides those two to choose from? Price tag on both are about the same....
OR Kyoshon IGT2 and get the electric conversion...
