Default ECX Ruckus Questions

Hello, new here so I bought my son the 1/10 ruckus a couple years ago with a 5000 mAh 7.4v 2s 20c battery.
I recently bought a bigger battery 5200 mAh 7.4v 2s 80c ran it then the motor overheated and died on me.
Any suggestion to what might have caused this? Last is there a good upgrade Motor/ESC for the battery I just bought that will fit the ruckus ?
Thank you in advance for the advice.

The mah wouldn't make any difference. Theoretically The 80c battery should let more power be used by the motor than the 20c. Could be the motor's just getting more juice now and overheated. You might try taking a couple teeth off your pinion gear. Tall grass will cause overheating.

I wonder why people come on a forum, ask a question, and then never come back? Maybe I'm just being picky but it seems a little rude to me.
