This is for a high speed TA05 (over 70miles)

If you running a Tamiya spur the HPI site probably won't help anyway as they are metric and most other makes are standard. Have you tried Tamiyas site? I don't know how large they have available but worth a check. Also try RCMart.

Well its not a standard Tamiya part ...its for a 5mm shaft Brushless motor ...

Apart from that dude Japan strives to keep everything within the norm

I showed them this motor in Super Rajikon (biggest RC store and their jaws dropped) they never use or order anything unusual ...they also play it within the norm on parts for sale reasons ...

So if you want anything that they have never heard of here good luck finding it

Japan is not as modern (in many ways as people might think lol) apart from the Electronics Industry

just buy the standard 30 tooth pinion and drill it out to 5mm.
It worked for a longer pinion like the ones in my brushless Clodbuster because they have a more simple design but these pinions are hard to drill by hand ...ended up all messy and crooked

Yea there is no 48p 5mm that I know of, I saw your post on RCM and somebody said that you can run 32 pitch gears?.. If so that would be your way to do it, And its extremely easy after 32 pitch.
