Davs!So you are from Odense,do you know H.C. Andersen?Sorry, just kidding!

No,i havent seen anything like this, not in large scale.Well, maybe some of the Mustangs i have seen, but still a bit far from this shape. But maybe it exists some kind of similar body in 1/10 scale?I nearly dont do anything less than 1/5 scale, and if i do it has to be a Ford

Yes,it will take a lot of modifications to make the Mustang look the same.It is almost easier to make one from scratch!

I guess that can be easily done, aslong as the mould is fine and smooth and symmetrical.Maybe you can use lexan and vacuumform the body also.I have seen som guides for this but i am too tired to look this up now.Maybe you'll find some videos on Youtube if you do a search there!

I use [link=http://fg-hobby.dk/index.php]FG Hobby[/link] in Denmark a lot,he has anything i need so i dont have to buy stuff from 3 different stores here in Norway to get what i need.In the summer of 2006 i was in Middelfart* and visited him (Martin) at FG Hobby, very nice guy.As you see he has -in addition to FG-,both MCD and HPI parts. But if you mean general stores for universal parts i use Biltema (located in Næstved and Aalborg in Denmark for your information, and also in Norway) or Clas Ohlson (strangely not located in Denmark).I am now, just as you know, talking in large scale building terminology, have a look in the large scale forum here on this forum and you will find many ideas! Are you going to build the chassi on your car aswell?

*You find that name funny guys?

I did´t know that FG Hobby was located in Middelfart maybe i´ll go talk to him one of these days.

First of all i want to make the body (also to see if my sculpting talent matches up)
my first thought was to make the chassis myself mainly to keep the weight down because weight is going to be a big issue for me [8D]

You lucky guy!Just a few minutes of driving from heaven, hehe! It was a bit hard to find, but with a bit of Nordanish from my girlfriends father we found it eventually

To make things a bit easier you can make the wheelbase and width similar to the existing 1/5 scale cars on the market, the wheelbase is normaly 535 mm and the widths are either 380,400 or 420 mm,then you can use other bodies on your chassi if you want to.
