RE: ultimate M chassis thread

All i have to do now is mount the axle of my choice and paint, edges are sealed, hitch is firmly attatched. so i just need to figure out which axle i can use, if i can get a good bracket i can use the rc18 wheel assemby. Not sure what would be the best alternate unless i use legos...

I just broke my 2nd clear blue shock cap on my M-03R, my mate hit my side, then pushed my into a wall at high speed, it had no chance :(
it now looks like i'm gonna end up with TRF blue ones :), they are very expensive though, for shocks :(

RE: ultimate M chassis thread

so, last night as i was getting ready to upload my pics to comp we had an earthquake of 5.6 mag. then i lost my memory card...:( so i am searching for it.

there's always the option of the cheap CVA dampers! the TRF's (hard blue coating) look cool though.. :D

does anyone think that the M-03R will handle the MM7700, or would the MM5700 be better?

Nasher 11-02-2007 08:47 PM

RE: ultimate M chassis thread

guessing the 5700 but i don't know how tough the drivetrain is.

Don't know if anyone got to read this but we had a 5.6 mag quake, lost my memory card, gettin another shipped out.
Got the lid today perfect fit, got the first two layers of blue on, top is white, bottom blue then up top have the red "VF-101 REAPERS" sticker.

Nasher 11-03-2007 06:37 PM

RE: ultimate M chassis thread

it's around 14'' long compared to the typical 17 inches or so. and everyone is buying them because cheap, easy to race, good size...

yes and no. i saw a mod class and a stock class about an hour from me.

THIS BODY IS MAKING ME MAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The wheel wells are off a lil which i don't mind, but there is no spot for te front body mounts and you gotta drill holes before you can see if it'd work or not, so you guys prolly won't get to see this lid....... so now i gotta find a lid that fits and is easy enough trim up so yeah....

thanks :),
lets see if the back end sticks to the track,
i might put my other one on the front to keep the front stuck to the track (less understeer :))

RE: ultimate M chassis thread

a wing on the front???? weird, going to get the rover mini for my M. I'd really like a Z4 or a mustang but this will do

rcluke 11-15-2007 02:43 AM

RE: ultimate M chassis thread

i tried the mini with oversized wing on the track last night, it gives more downforce to the rear, and more grip :)
i also put the geared differential back in, the ball diff was making the car steer well into corners, then steer bad out of them , and this wasn't due to the tyre grip on the front
