This is a good sim that I found on this thread http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_9403685/tm.htm all you need is a controler or a USB adapter for your transmiter and those are around $20

I have both the RF G5.5 and Clearview sims. I like them both. There are some features in the RF that are easier to use such as setting of wind speed and direction along with turbulence. It helps to learn in takeoffs and landings in a realistic wind condition. Another feature I like is the visible animated wind sock so you can actually see where the wind direction is from.

I also think there are far more airplanes available with RF both in their free downloads as well as the swap site. Many of the planes come with active flaps, retractable gear and other bells and whistles. All this is at a price though.

Clearview has a lot of 3 and 4 channel trainer planes good for us new guys. The graphics are good and the planes fly realistic. So for a 39.95 license and a $15 to $20 usb controller you have a lot of controller.

I don't know if my thoughts help or not but if I had to do it over I would probably still buy the RF G5.5 sim but I also really like the Clearview too.

Good luck!
