Default phoenix sim computer reqmts

I'm interested in getting phoenix 2.5/3.0 sim. Need to know if my system will handle it. I've got an HP DV7 laptop with i5 460m processor 2.5 ghz - boost to 2.8 ghz, ATI 512 mb mobility radeon HD 5470 ddr3 for dual core processors graphics card, 4gb RAM.

Will this config 1) run the sim at all, 2) will I be able to have reasonably good results?

Thanks,
Steve

My HP DV7T-1000 - earlier version of your laptop - runs Phoenix very well, with at least 60 fpm, and sometimes well over 100. I did add another gig of memory and replace the 2- Seagate HDDs with 2- OCZ SSDs, which speeded-up loading, boot and shut down tremendously, but had no effect on frame rates.

Your machine should run the sim very well indeed.

Good luck.

Thanks for responding, Stew. I intentionally configured a 500GB 7200rpm instead of the "stock" 640GB 5400rpm drive. That should speed up the paging and I don't need the extra 140Gb. I kinda wished I'd bumped RAM up from 4GB to 6 or 8GB, but that was beginning to strain my budget (I upgraded to Win7 Prof). I can always add more RAM if needed.

My ultimate plan is to get an HDMI cable and hook up to our 46" TV.

Steve
