I thought I would buy a used sim in this case a G3.just to practice my 3D maunvers..but if I buy it on ebay or for that matter any flight sim from original owner will it work as the software codes belong to original purchaser..how do I get around that.

The seller has to "de-register" the software or you cannot register it and get both the program updates and the RF ver. 3.0 is eligible for the free upgrade to 3.5. You also HAVE to have the original controller as that works as part of the anti piracy protection.
