I just bought Realflight G6 but need a new computer. I would rather just buy a laptop since I don't have much space for a desk top. I was thinking of hooking my new lap top to my 50 inch Plasma tv or hooking up a desk top directly to my Plasma TV. Here are two computers I am looking at
Alienware X51, I like this because it is small and I can hide it in my entertainment center and hook it up to my TV. The problem with this is I would still have to buy a cheap laptop.

both of your choices are overkill for realflight, but if you are a gamer then go ahead.....a 325 dollar laptop with hdmi out would be more than adequate
