i have a real flight g2 with the usb version with windows me
and when i try to open the program i get the following message-

failed to execute target process (error code 1157)

error starting program
a required .dll file,dinput8.dll was not found

any ideas are welcome

I would go to Real Flight tech support, give them the error code, and see if they have a patch to fix that. A .dll (dynamic link library) file is a shared file meaning it may be common to several differnt applications on your computer. It is found in the Windows system directory. A word to the wise..."don't fool around with the system directory unless you really know what you are doing." Hopefully tech support will have you up and flying in no time. Good luck!

PS: I have ran it on Win 98 SE and Win XP with no hitches. I don't have any expertise on Win ME. Sorry.
