Learning to fly heli's on Pre Flight and cannot get my Airtronics 6000 to work. I can see the channels working I am configuring the joystick+ keys in "test"... but when I run the program nothing happens.
Any insight would be appreciated.

Do the aircraft appear and fly, and do the helis appear on the scene? If so, this is how I configured my set up. I'm using a Hitec Focus 4 TX and an RC Joy USB interface, so your equipment might require different mapping:
throttle on ch.7 reversed
aileron on ch.1 "
elev. on ch.2 not reversed
rudder on ch.6 "
aux 1 on ch.7 reversed - It's been a while but I think aux 1 combines heli rotor blade pitch with throttle, allowing lift, and allows the Mustang landing gear to operate in conjunction with the throttle - this looks nice in the zoom window.
I am also using Joystick+Keys. so it's possible that your hardware may allow the system to work the way mine does.
Also, be aware that the heli training scenery is set up with time factor set to 2. This will slow down the action so that training in somewhat "slow motion" can occur. The time factor can be changed in this and the other sceneries to slow down or speed up the action; the time factor choices are 1,2, or 3, and are accessed in the scenery selection using "quick edit".
Hope this is some help.
