I don't know about FMS but G2 is fairly close to being real R/C helis. It should be difficult learning to hover just like the real thing.

This is because RFG2 does a good simulation of how difficult it is to fly a heli while in FMS the simulation is far too easy.

Sad(/happy?!?) to say but RFG2 is what it's really like. However once you can hover in G2 then you should have a good grounding for trying the real thing.

I was pretty disapointed the first time I used G2, took me several days before I could do even a poor hover. Gotta keep practicing an hour or two every day and you'll get it.

Keep it up on the sim. I have found though that the sim helicopters are quite a bit more stable than the real thing.
