Anyone know if I can use the Reflex USB connector to the tx as a normal windows joystick interface?
Thinking of buying Reflex but just want to know if I'll need yet another interface to my tx when I play with other sims like RFG2 (game port version), FMS, preflight, or I can just use the one that comes with Reflex..

Reflex uses his owh interface that will not work with any other sim and it's NOT a joystick. It installes as human device interface (HID) and will be controlled by the Reflex software only so there is no need to mess around with the Windows game controller settings.

Hi wolfgang,
Thanks for the info..
I'm going through your Singapore distributor to buy Reflex, but it seems they only deal with JR tx and don't have the adapter for Futaba 9CHP on hand and will have to order it from you in Germany...

Guess I'll have to wait a while for them to get their act together...

Cheers,
Greg

Hi Greg,
no need to buy the Adapter from here. Please check if they have the DSC cord for the 9CHP (square plug ending in a servo cable). If this is available, the transformation work is a question of 2 minutes and a soldering iron.

Ah... umm... since Hobby Shack Singapore only stock JR transmitters, I doubt they have the DSC cable for the Futaba 9C..

Anyway, I'm still waiting for their reply on this issue...
Maybe you can contact them directly to help them to clarify this issue so I can go ahead with my Reflex purchase.. The person I've been dealing with is Amy Lim, and the email is [email protected]
Thanks,
Greg
