From: gfd, MS,
any trainer planes? I'm looking to train on a flightsim before trying the real thing. I'm currently using a friend's Realflight Lite sim and I'm just wondering if I should spend 200 bucks on Aerofly Pro, or just stick with Realflight lite?

zorafex,
To answer your question - YES. Both G2 and AeroFly Pro (AFP) have trainer airplanes. I own both G2 Full USB Interlink and AFP - of the two, I prefer AFP for the flight model. It feels more realistic than G2. G2 has nice "eye candy" and a larger install base, but AFP flys better. I got my girlfriend into the hobby - actually, she got me BACk into it - and she has trained on both sims and got her Level A after only a few months of real flying.
AFP is cheaper than G2 and I think you will get more long term enjoyment from it. I recomend that you get Pro and not AeroFly or EasyFly. You may not use it now, but you are going to want the interface cable to use your own transmitter latter on. It's much better to practice in sims with the same weight, feel and setup of the trainsmitter you are going to use at the field.
Hope this helps.
