Aerofly Pro Sound Problems

The simulator is cool except I'm having sound problems on a brand new Dell PC with a Sound Blaster Audigy sound card.
I think there's a conflict between my onboard sound card and my Sound Blaster. If I just use the on-board sound card, it works fine. I'll have to figure out how disable the onboard one and see if the sound blaster works better.

JoeAirPort,
Check in your BIOS to disable the on-board sound. I don't know what motherboards or chipsets your manufacturer is using, but its usually Del, F10 or ESC at system startup to get into the BIOS. Looking in all categories, but it will probably be found in peripherals. You may see something like AC97 - Enabled.
If you look in your motherboard manual, it should point you in the right direction. If you are still having problems, let me know your system model and I can run down some additional info.

Thanks Kule. I'll try that out and see I can disable it. Thanks for the help.
Yeah man, this simulator rawks. The planes fly so darn real. Also seeing the control surfaces going all over the place while I'm hovering is too cool. I did a flat spin followed by an inverted flat spin and then an upright one again. I made a movie of it but I can't view it. It's a Real player file I think. I'd like to post it here. It's pretty cool to watch. I waited until the last second to pull out and crashed..oh well.

I'm using the Nvidia 5400FX (something like that). My graphics are great my sound is not. If I use the soundblaster output it's silent with little tiny blips of sound now and then. With two planes flying I can hear one of them or both of them most of the time. I'll have to figure this out. I got a Altec Lansing Dolby 5.1 speaker system coming Thursday and I want to use it with this game. We'll see.
