Default g2 woes

After owning realflight g2 for over a year and updating often, all of a sudden the program is asking me to please insert disk. After I insert it, it says that there is an error and will not load. Why!!!!!!!!!!! Help!!!!!!!!!!!

SchoolAce:

My G2 did that a couple of times....asked for the disk on startup. I had it say there were errors on startup once and all I did was restart my POS computer and inserted the G2 disk into the drive before trying to start the real flight software that way it had access to the disk on startup (didn't need to insert it later) and it worked for me. You might give that a try and see what happens. I've had the G2 software for over a year and a half also and I have only updated it a few times...guess I should do that more often....but it still works for me.

I had the same problem also ... It would load and would not recognise a few of the planes. I called Hobby Services and had to send by G2 disc in and they are consolidating the disc and sending me a new G2 disc. Bad thing is I have to reload everthing including all the plane trim scemes. Good think I have them saved on floppy disc.

Look into the program called game drive. You'll never need to insert another disk again.
It will save your cd drive, and your disk from wear and tear.
